Run by Martin Brewster and Carole Proberts, The Dragon Fireplace Company has been supplying and fitting fireplaces for over 20 years which makes us exceptionally well-qualified to advise and guide you on all aspects of fireplace selection and installation.

The service includes an on-site survey to check the nature of your chimney to recommending the most suitable fire-bed and help to select a precise shade of marble for the hearth and even design for your own matching fire surround.

When you buy a fireplace from us, you automatically have access to our specialist fitting service. We employ fully-trained builder, HETAS and Gas Safe fitters who are familiar with our products for a trouble-free installation.

Should any building work be necessary to create an inglenook, or alter the chimney breast, our in-house builder will be on hand so all the work can be completed with the minimum of fuss. We can also line your chimney if necessary.

In the showroom the choice of surrounds ranges from the traditional Adams-style to the hi-tech hole-in-the-wall look, so there is no shortage of inspiration. Choose from stone, wood, slate, marble or cast iron, to name but a few finishes, for your surround, and team it with a fire ranging from a traditional coal fire basket to the latest in water-filled bubbling electric fire.

If gas is your fuel of choice the range of styles is endless, with a design to suit any interior from traditional Victorian to state-of-the-art minimalist. There is also a range of solid fuel fires and stoves, including multi-fuel, DEFRA approved and flue-less so you can enjoy a fire even if you haven't got a chimney!
